It’s an incredible change when you just drive 50 Minutes south of Marrakech. It is time to see the berber villages on top hills of green and red mountains. Possibility to visit a berber house to learn how we make green tea! It is advised to wear your hiking shoes because they are small waterfalls to climb to at the footsteps of the high atlas mountains. It is a pure and magnificent place where silence is only " disturbed " by birds singing, water streams, wagtails wonderful hills and typical villages. You will have lunch just right at the bank of the river in the last berber village of Sitti-Fatma. The best day to visit Ourika is Monday or Friday you will get mingled with locals in the berber souk. They show all their items: fruits, vegetables, cereal, animals…!

DAY 01: Marrakech - Ourika Valley - Seti Fatma Waterfalls

Ourika valley is one of the most popular destinations for foreign tourists as well as for Moroccans. The road from Marrakech to the valley is bordered by gardens, palm and fruit trees, small villages, Berber houses. In the valley itself, the Ourika River descends from the High Atlas, passing by Asguine, Aghbalou, Oulmes and finally the village of Setti Fatma ...
