Excursion to Essaouira - One day

A journey that will take you to visit Essaouira a beautiful city of Morocco. It’s just 170 km from Marrakech. Although Essaouira (then called Mogador) was home to a series of forts beginning in the 15th century. A City on the coast line of the Atlantic Ocean where there is the forest of the Agran Trees (Goat Trees). At the province of Essaouira you will visit one of the cooperatives of women where they are extracting the ‘’Moroccan oil’’ known for its cosmetic benefits. You will explore the 18th century small Medina and like a nice walk along the beach of the city. The sounds of seagulls will replace the noises of Marrakech also a stress less city where you will see different arts: painting and sculpture. In the Port you will eat fresh fish in a local restaurant. After enjoying the seafood lunch we drive back to Marrakesh. Return to Marrakesh in the Evening.

Journey of 180 km between Marrakesh and Essaouira which allows us to discover the western part of the plain of Haouz rich olive trees, apricot trees and vines.
This region also known for large-scale production of green melons, known in Arabic as SOUIHLA name carried by the region just outside of Marrakech.
Leaving the plain of Haouz we discover a landscape and arid semi-desert, is the plain Chichaoua formerly called "plain sugar cane." This plain is one of the reasons for the construction of the city of Essaouira.
Between it and the plain of Essaouira Chiyadma or you can admire the forest of the argan tree a wild tree only grows in Morocco and Mexico classified heritage.
